The key free agent of the 2015 offseason has been locked up to a longterm deal, and it’s not with the Lions. Ndamukong Suh and the Miami Dolphins agreed to a six-year, $114 million deal with $60 million guaranteed, making him one of the highest-paid players in the NFL. He will make $60 of the $114 million in his first three years with the Dolphins.

The Lions were in talks to bring Suh back to Detrioit, but their offer didn’t stand a chance against Miami’s.

Suh is considered to be one of the best defensive players in the league and has absolutely dominated the defensive tackle position since entering the league in 2010. He will now play along side another dominant defensive lineman in Cameron Wake as the two look to be a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks. In a division where the Jets just traded for Brandon Marshall and the Bills getting LeSeasn McCoy the Dolphins just added as big of an aquisition as you can find.
